Delete your data
What this page is about
This page explains how to delete the data held by Footaz, the website footaz.net, the website footaz.fr and the Android application Footaz, published on Google Play under the identifier net.footaz.app, both operated by MKH - Marketing KUHM-HOLLNER.
An account is optional: without one, we hold no name, no email address and no password.
If you have an account, deleting it erases the address, the favourites and the history of your consents, in one go and with no delay.
Delete everything yourself, immediately
1. Open the favourites page and press "Clear all". This deletes every favourite stored against your identifier, on our servers, at once.
2. Turn off notifications for footaz.net and footaz.fr in your browser settings, or for the Footaz app in Android settings. The subscription is removed.
3. Clear cookies for footaz.net and footaz.fr. This removes the random identifier itself, so nothing can be linked back to your browser.
After these three steps, nothing that concerns you remains.
Delete your account, in three clicks
1. Open the "My account" page: the link sits at the bottom of every page. If you are not signed in, enter your address and the four-digit code sent to you by email.
2. Press "Delete my account" at the bottom of the page. You will be asked to confirm.
3. That is it, immediately and with no delay: the email address, the favourites attached to the account, your consent history and the associated devices are erased from our servers. Nothing goes to a bin, nothing waits thirty days.
Before you go, the "Export my data" button hands you everything we hold about you, in one file. There is no required order, but once the account is deleted we have nothing left to export.
Deleting the account does not erase favourites saved WITHOUT an account on this device: those belong to the cookie, and go away with the three steps above.
Ask us instead
Write to contact@footaz.net with the words "delete my data". If you can, include the value of the fz-vis cookie: it is the only way we can find your rows, since we hold no name and no email address.
We answer within thirty days, as the GDPR requires.
What is deleted
Your favourites: the teams, competitions, players and channels you follow, and the matches you hid.
Your notification subscription: the address given by your browser notification service and the two encryption keys.
Your random identifier, once the cookie is cleared.
What is kept, and for how long
Aggregate page counts, which contain no identifier and cannot be traced back to a person. They are not deleted because they no longer concern anyone in particular.
Server logs held by our host, Cloudflare, under its own retention policy. They are technical records, not a profile.
A notification subscription that has become invalid is deleted automatically as soon as the notification service tells us it is gone.
